Cookie Policy

SadAutumn.com runs on WordPress and uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your device to help provide a better user experience. On here, cookies are used to retain your information when you leave a comment, so that you don’t have to re-enter this every time (you are separately given a choice for your details to be remembered when you leave a comment). Plugins running in the background also place their own cookies, as will embedded third-party content in which case the same cookie policy applies as if you visited the site in question directly.

To protect your privacy as much as possible, I have chosen to use Twitter and Facebook sharing buttons below each post that you need to opt in to. These services are only able to place a cookie on your device and are only able to tell that you visited SadAutumn.com once you activate them by clicking on them once. They are activated individually and only for the respective post, so choosing to switch on Twitter once leaves all the other services switched off. You also need to repeat this step each time you want to click a button.

As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. I suggest consulting the help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.
